"We had Megan join us as a day-of-coordinator only a couple of months before our big day. As a type-A and frugal planner, I was skeptical about spending some extra money on what felt like a luxury for our wedding. I can now say without a doubt this was the best investment of our wedding experience. Leading up to the day, we felt very well prepared and as though we had thought of everything.. Then rolls in the wedding morning when both Megan and her assistant Hailey arrive and I recall saying "wow it feels like we are ahead of schedule." I stepped away after vowing to myself that I wanted to just enjoy our wedding and leave the execution of my vision to Megan.
These two ladies were so detail-oriented and made time to refine each element of our decor so they came out looking even better than I could have imagined even down to steaming 16 table runners just hours before our reception after I said "I am sure no one will notice." They were everywhere and nowhere all at once. Throughout the day, I would catch a glimpse of Megan and Hailey as they were on to the next task and always working diligently to get ahead of any curveball that may come our way and despite their busyness, they were always the calm within the storm for me. When I felt myself getting caught up in the stress of the day, it was as though Megan could feel it too and she was somewhere within eye shot, calm and with a "we've got this and you've got this" smile on her face.
This otherwise complete stranger became a touchstone from across the room for me to feel grounded and at ease. This speaks to Megan's ability to build relationships on the fly to accommodate the variable emotions that come with the most stressful day of people's lives. Without Megan, this day would not have happened like it did and I owe my memory and enjoyment of each moment to her and her team. Thanks again!"
